I truly hate to do this, but I am looking to sell my REEB custom steel, hard tail, 29er, belt drive singlespeed mountain bike. If you are into something else, I'm sure there is another post for you. You will likely not find a more unique, better riding or looking bike in Boise. . .maybe the Rockies. This was REEB's entry in the North American Handmade Bicycle Show (2013) as their "straight up 29'er hard tail" with a spectrum powder coat paint job and custom logo badge. The one and only "Green Machine" can be yours.
I live in Boise, but get to PDX for work some & can bring it or easily ship.
REEB was founded in 2011 by some folks at Oskar Blues Brewery who eat, breathe, sweat, and bleed bikes (this is no joke. They are friends of mine, which is how I got the unique opportunity to buy this bike). When the boss man's old bike was stolen, the do-it-yourself mentality that pervades OB took over, and a bike company was born. We knew that we could make the bikes we dream about, and get people excited about them in the process. Our steel is American-made. Our small parts are American-made. Our frames are made by people you can talk to and share a beer with, in a place you can visit. We do everything in house, from cutting the raw tubesets and welding up the basic frame to powder coating and frame prep.
The wheels were custom built for this bike -- I spared no expense on the build and made it exactly what I wanted for Boise, Moab, Stanley, CO, Sun Valley and has been my "quiver of one" bike since I got it in February last year (2014) and was the first one to ever ride it. I've put a couple hundred miles on her, but have to let her go now.
The belt drive is quiet, durable and a belt will go for 10-15,000 miles. No joke and no maintenance, no slap, no noise. . .just straight up power and oh, so smoooooth.
