First up: We���ve had suggestions to spruce up the finish with either fake snow or a snow machine. We may have to put it to a vote :)

We will take bags up to the top again for those wanting to have water, food, or clothes. Also, the view from the Sherard Point lookout after 16 miles of uphill is awesome on a good day, but with the recent clarity means the view is likely going to be phenomenal. 

Those interested in also racing at the velo and want to double-down? Please let us know and we���ll make sure you get a good start.

Great news. I personally ensured that any concerns about snow at the Larch finish can be forgotten. It���s all gone.  What is not gone though??? The fabled OUCH starting ramp. Ride down the start on your way up to victory. Register today and be on the first starting list tonight.  Start order within categories is the reverse order of registration. 

The OBRA online registration program could not be easier to use.

Even with the heat, OBRA racing continues is top-flight form across the state from Baker City to Ashland showing the amazing quality of OBRA  Also as I finalize permit plans for OUCH, given several recent events within our cycling community, the most recent near our Larch Mtn route, please take just an extra moment to remember both your own and the safety of our fellow cyclists. 

 

In addition to riding safe, you'll need to be strong because it's time to head uphill for the 14th annual OUCH: Larch Mtn Uphill Time Trial on Sunday July 12th and (depending on who you talk to) somewhere between the 33rd and 99th OBRA Uphill Time Trial Championship at Mt Hood just a week later on Sunday July 19th. Registration continues for both.

Special start times and accommodate ions for preregistered riders is available where we can.

The starting order within categories will be the reverse order of registration sign up

OBRA categories are observed, scored, and supercede all others, but special group scoring for personal challenges can be done as we have in the past.

Also, as is tradition, day-of-registration is available, but will start after the last preregistered rider so that the starting list can be posted and finalized to help us get started on time.

The fabled water bottles and medals return, but this year, in limited number for 2015 so sign up quick or you might end up with a prior year's version :)
