This is a real shot in the dark, but at some point my front wheel came
off the rack on the way back to Bend. Maybe you've heard of/seen it?
Gold Mavic 530 ?, old school XTR hub with, get this, purple spoke
nipples and a new Hutchinson 1.3 CrossComp tire and CRAP Ritchey skewer.
It's an MTB wheel I bought on eBay so no great loss, but the tires are
out of stock, and they are the cat's rear end for 'cross on a 26" wheel.
We went back thru Salem and over Santiam. Most likely it's history but I
thought I'd give it a shot here.
