Schedule of Events
The 2003 Utah Cup of Cycloross Race at Soldier Hollow,
Saturday October 25, 2003
is a Category 3 event and will oper-ate
under UCI rules and regulations for Category 3 events. UCI
categories are regulated by current UCI Cyclocross rules; all
other categories are regulated under USCF Cyclocross rules.
Only those racers with valid UCI Elite licenses will be allowed to
race in the Elite Men and Elite Wo m e n 's races. Points and cash
awarded as per UCI rules.
Race categories and start times are as follows:
Category/Time Distance Fee
Men's C (Cat 4&5) 9:00am/30mins $25
Men's B (non-UCI)* 9:45am/45mins. $30
UCI Juniors 17-18** 10:45am/40mins. $25
Masters 35+ 11:45am/45mins. $30
Kids Fun Race 12:45pm FREE
UCI Elite Women 1:30pm/40mins. $30
UCI Elite Men/U23 Men 3:00pm/60mins $40
Race Headquarters and Registration will be located in
the Soldier Hollow Competition Building. Soldier Hollow is
in Midway, Utah. Please refer to www.soldierhollow.org
for directions to the venue.
Registration and Packet pick-up times are as follows:
Friday, October 24: 3:00pm - 5:00pm
Saturday, October 25: 6:00am - 3:00pm
* The men's B race will be competitive! This is for cat 1's,
2's, 3's who don't hold a UCI license.
**Cash and UCI points will only be awarded to UCI
licensed Juniors, but other Juniors 13-18 may also race
in the same event.
