If you've been racing cross a while you may remember the great metal toe spikes that Sidi used to make. They were awesome but really hard to find. 2 Aerospace nerds from Connecticut thought so too and started making their own, Horst toe spikes. Better than the original and easy to find. Anyway, the guys at Horst caught wind of our killer new runup at Zaaldercross and wanted in on the action. They're officially sponsoring the runup and are awarding a set of their rocking toe-spikes to each 2nd place finisher...........they figured 1st place probably already has them. They've also donated a pro spike kit to our Zaalderaffle. Check it out at:

Well 2 cross-crazy aerospace engineers from Ct. felt the same way and used their shop to start making them for themselves. Enter Horst toe spikes, and when they heard about our killer run up at Zaaldercross they wanted in. Thats right, they saw the Wallderbrook run up and immediately suggested shipping some Horst toe spikes out for the job. So, next saturday at Zaaldercross, all 2nd place winners will receive a set of sweet toe spikes compliments of Horst. When I asked them why 2nd place they simply said that the 1st place guys probably already have them anyway. They also contributed a full Horst Pro kit for our Zaalderraffle. Check them out here:
