Thought some might be interested in this info. I do not ride the lumberyard, but I see they are having a “Nightrider Timed Race” event. You good riders could be all over this. Sounds pretty neat.
Also maybe the most important with regard to the future is the last posted event on Oct. 3. Take a Kid Mountain biking. If you are NOT doing a race that day, heading out to Cascade Locks with the kids will not only make that more of a success (of course it will be a success for every kid who shows!), but will show the invited agency officials that there really is lots of interest and need for natural surface riding.

The 13th annual Harvest Century will bring together up to 1,500 cyclists on Sept. 27 in the last organized ride on the Oregon cycling calendar. The event, which includes 100-, 75-, 45- and 3-mile routes, benefits Community Vision.
