Zaaldercross is just around the corner this saturday and that pitter-patter sound you hear on your roof is the sound of the course getting even funner! This little bit of rain should really help bring things together softening up the firmer sections and buffing out the drier ones. The forecast looks favorable for a great race day and we are getting amped to bring you a great race experience. So come on out this saturday and bring the family. Here's a few details to help and as always feel free to contact me with any burning questions or problems:

1. Alderbrook Park is a private park which is gracious enough to let us race here at a reduced rate to help us to benefit p:ear. Please be respectful of the grounds and the several private residences at the park. Also, if you really dig the event put a nice review in for them on Yelp
2. Team Tents/ PreRide: Tents can be placed in the main grass bowl section anywhere along the course. Unfortunately , Alderbrook Park is booked with an event on friday so no Preride or tents until race day. Sorry
3. Rest Rooms/Porta Potties: There will be 4 potties set up at the start line and one at registration. There also are restrooms located by the petting zoo, pool, and near registration. I know the park is located in the woods and its tempting, but only use the potties and restrooms
4. No Pets. Sorry, its a park rule.
5. Food and drinks are available on site. They've got a great BBQ planned, a snack shack, coffee in the a.m. and beer all day!
6. The petting zoo, bouncy house, and pirate ship will be open for the kids and we're negotiating extended bouncy house time for all category winners!
7. Prizes. Elite winners get cash and a sweet Z4 t-shirt. All other category winners get Bogs gift certificates and a shirt. Other prizes for place winners include Hortst toe spikes, and beer from the Commons brewery
8. Sellwood Cycles will be on hand to help out with your mechanical needs
9. Don't forget to buy some raffle tickets either on race day or when you check out at prereg. Prizes are super great this year: A SRAM Force CX1 drivetrain, Zipp Wheels, A Quark crank power meter, Zipp bars,stem,seatpost, Horst toe spikes, and more. Check it out at:
