best tubular tires for a second cyclocross wheelset?

I happily run mud tires (FMB) all year long with excellent results. I have run file treads before and find limited perceivable advantage, if any, over the mud tires. If I were to have a second set, which would be indulgent on my part, I would try to special order some 40c file treads from Dugast and put them on some wide rims.

As the experts have explained to me, there are basically three CX tread types

Rhino (Dugast, Clement PDX is basically same tread)
Grifo (Challenge, Clement MXP, FMB
File tread

Most people would say if you have two sets, get a Grifo set and a Rhino.
I run Challenge Grifo and Limus, I have some Clement PDX clinchers but don't race them. If I got another set of tires it would a tossup, file tread or rhino tread.

This having been a pretty dry year, I think file treads would have been nice to have in the arsenal. I also don't know what the best tire is for loose, dry gravel or dust. Maybe it is a file tread, in which case this would be a great September race tire for OR.

I have FMB Super Muds as tubular tires on my main cyclocross wheelset. I'm getting a second set of tubular wheels built up and was wondering what type of tubular tires people would recommend for a second set of cyclocross wheels? Should I get file treads, all-around tires, or some other type of tire? And, any specific recommendations on particular make/model of tubular tires would also be appreciated. Thanks in advance for any help.
