CXC is back. Join Ruckus Composites at Peoria Gardens on November 7 for the
Corvallis Cross Classic’s second year.

For those who came down last year, you’ll recall that CXC isn’t merely
another PNW cyclocross race. This year’s course is a 1.5-mile menagerie of
fields, trails, greenhouses, gravel, runups and some untraditional
barriers, set in the heart of the Willamette River Valley. It’s a full day
of racing for all ages replete with morning coffees and afternoon beers (or
vice versa), honeywine, tacos, warm changing areas and lots of balloons.

What really sets CXC apart, though, is the emphasis that we’re placing on
the women’s fields this year. Last year we were thrilled to host the
Women’s State Championship Singlespeed race as a part of this event under
the “Equal Opportunity, Unequal Payout” banner ...and this year we’re
looking forward to extending that unequal payout to racers in all female
categories.

We’ll have prizes from sponsors like Sugar Wheel Works, Smith Optics,
Castelli, PDW and more for our woman racers ...and free entries to this
year’s SSCXWC in Vancouver for the top finishers in the Men's and Women’s
Singlespeed category!
