Cross racers and others who desire natural surface riding options (inside Portland Metro area),
Metro is holding the final community meeting regarding the North Tualatin Mountain Area. We have had two very good bike friendly turnouts and this last one should put us over the top for sure fire quality inclusion of bike trails right on the North side of Forest Park. Please come support this effort with your big positive smilin’ faces.
This really is important. The next door neighbors to this “public land” should not be the only voices deciding the use of these lands owned by the entire Metro Region.

Subject: YOU'RE INVITED: North Tualatin Mountains Community Event, Nov. 17

Please Join Metro and your Skyline Ridge and Forest Park neighbors on Nov. 17 for the last community event to help shape the future of the North Tualatin Mountains Natural Area.

We will share the preferred alternative, which reflects community input, supports healthy habitats and offers a variety of opportunities to experience nature. Stop by to see where new amenities, such as trails, parking, benches and viewpoints are proposed and provide input on the plans.

Thank you to the many community members who shared their visions at the three previous community events.

The event will be held Nov. 17 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Skyline School Gymnasium, 11536 NW Skyline Blvd., Portland.

Best,

Metro Natural Areas Team
