Wow. Sometimes it bothers me that when I write people

they reply to my mail with simple one word answers.

Thank you for that burst of energy.

I really did not mean to make you feel anal. I

respect the fact that you commute and that you enjoy

yourself at the cross events.

Hope you have FUN on your next ride.

 Mr Kudzu,

Flat out, you were ragging on me. I don't mind

people poking fun at me.

Sometimes I am too anal for my own good. However,

you seem to insuate that:

1) I don't like the courses, and

2) I don't like riding in the rain and mud.

At the risk of exposing my OCD behavior ...

I mentioned the word fun six times in my message.

The very last line states:

"This season has been a lot of fun and the race

promoters have done a really

excellent job across the board. Thanks." Does that

sound like someone who

hated the courses and isn't having any fun?

Next, I ride all the time. Rain or shine. So far

this year, I have not

commuted to work on my bike exactly 5 times. That

means I have gone to work

199 times by bike this year. Usually, my commute is

18-30 miles in the

morning and an easy 6 on the way home. I had a blast

yesterday. I just wish

that I could have gotten around a couple of people

sooner in the woods. I

loved Barton Park and it was way muddy out there. It

was one of my best

finishes -- I think because I do well on that type

of terrain. I thought

Jackson Middle School was outstanding and I picked

grass out of my bike for

a week. Okay, one more stupid riding stat, I have

been on my bike 68% of the

days this year. Shoot, I rode in to work this

morning. Hell, I wish I were

out riding my bike right now instead of typing this

rebuttal on company

time. I guess I could quit and be a bike bum except

my daughter comes before

me and my bike habit.

Yes, you crept under my skin like an annoying vine

...

Hasta banana and see you at the races ...

Dearest Brooke. You asked for discussion. It may be

slim due to the fact that everyones out riding. Yes,

it's funny how rain, mud, and all the other little

things don't seem to stop us. I was curious as to

your description of the

cross courses. Did you not like them? Did you not

have fun? Well, I'd love

to keep chatting away but I must go ride.

P.S. To all the people involved with the Cross

Crusade.....Once

again...Nice Work!!!!!
