I think the beginners ran for at least 10 "bonus" minutes which would

explain the extra laps. I know I felt the extra time.

What a fun course! The first time I've ever done a full face plant in the mud. Splat!

As far as grass regeneration, I live near Jackson Middle School and I can tell you it's healed very nicely already. It's amazing how well grass grows in Oregon.
