A big thank you to Dan for all of his tireless work over the years.
We have been lucky to have such an outstanding individual work for our
organization. He has been the man behind the curtain. We certainly
would not be here without his skills and hard efforts. So thank you
Dan!

At the same time I'd like to welcome Kevin Blair who will be taking on
equipment duties who will be joining Tony Kic on our expert equipment
squad.

Dan, I can’t put a face to the name, but I’m sure I’d recognize you. So long and thanks for all your help making these races work, especially the CX races.

Best of luck to you on your next chapter!

Cheers!

It has been exciting to see bike racing opportunities in Oregon grow during that time.  In 2007, OBRA had one truck and trailer to serve the Portland area and today there is two trucks and three trailers.  We had only 8 folding chairs and now we are up to 25.
One working generator in 2007 and now there's four.

The work of loading and unloading heavy stuff has been good exercise and enjoyable except during early cyclocross season when there are more races on the calendar than time to load for the next race.

I will miss the people I've worked with. They too numerous to name here, The setting at Alpenrose is beautiful workplace despite the squawking waterfowl
begging for food.  I will not miss handling muddy cyclocross cones.

The youth of Tony Kic and Kevin Blair assures a seamless transition into 2016.

Thanks for the good times.

Dan,
Having worked with you as well as benefited from the hard work you have put
into the equipment upkeep and organization of trucks / trailers (etc.), I
thank you very much for your efforts. So much of your efforts flew under
the radar of us commoners, but bore fruit on race day.
I am sure you have experienced (more than a few times) the struggle
determining if a cone is yellow or red when it is coated in dried out mud.
Happy new year and enjoy your next life chapter.
