Come end the racing season with the biggest OBRA event in Eugene, The

Hutch's Bicycles Eugene Celebration Omnium. Be sure to be part of the

exciting action down in Eugene on the 16-17, come race, check out the

Eugene Celebration Events. You can purchase a event button at the race

for a special discount, gets you into events downtown. SO what are you

waiting for !?!



B.A.R points and Sunday, 17th is the LAST Oregon Cup Series Race (Women

and 1,2 racers only).



Racers please note:

exit 172 on I5 South for the Cottage Grove Road Races/Time Trial



Hotels, Lodging are booking up, please get your places now! Camping is

also available at Cottage Grove Lake Area.



Also, as always, still looking for helpers/volunteers. Please let me

know if someone you know, yourself or friends/family might be able to

help me out! Please have them email or contact me!



Pre-Registration does not have a late fee, but is nice to do. If you can

Last Race of the OBRA Oregon Cup Race on Sunday, 17th for the Women and

Cat. 1,2.



Hutch's Rack and Roll Road Race - SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 16th

Cottage Grove Lake, Cottage Grove



10:00am Cat 1,2,3 7 laps 56Miles

10:10 Cat 3,4,5 6 laps 48Miles

12:20 Masters 35+ 6 laps 48 Miles

12:25 Juniors (under 18) 5 laps 40Miles

12:30 Cat 1-4 Women 5 laps 40Miles



(Category 3 has the option to ride with the Cat 1,2 or the Cat 4,5)



Day of Registration: Opens 7:30am closes 15 min. before posted start

time.

Course: Flat to rolling country roads with good to excellent pavement.

Directions: From Eugene, head south on I-5 to exit 172 (Cottage Grove

Lake). Exit 172 is the 2nd Cottage Grove exit. NOTE: If you miss it,

you will have to travel south approx. 10miles to another exit. Turn left

onto S 6th st. S 6th st. becomes London Rd. and precede approx. 5

miles. Follow the signs to the parking area called Lakeside, right on

the lake on your left. Allow approx. 30-45 minutes from Eugene.



Hutch's Rack and Roll Time Trial - SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 16TH

Cottage Grove Lake, Cottage Grove

***First rider of at 4:00PM---The TT will follow the same start order as

the morning's road race schedule***



Registration: Riders must pre-register for the TT either by mail or at

the morning road races to compete in the TT.

Course: Flat to rolling country roads with good to excellent pavement. 8

miles. Start/Finish will be near the start of the road race.

Directions: Same as the road race, Cottage Grove Lake and Lakeside

parking area.

Oregon Cup Points Competition for the WOMEN.



Day of Registration: At Elmira High School; opens 7:30am and closes 15

min. prior to posted start time.

Course: A gradual longer climb and a shorter, steeper climb. Remainder

of course consists of rolling, country roads. Some chip sealing has

been done.

Directions: From I-5 N or S, take Beltline West, Beltline ends and

comes to a T. Go right on West 11th (Hwy 126). Continue to Veneta (still

on Hwy 126) turn right (north) onto Territorial Hwy and go about one

mile to a left (west) on Warthen Rd. Follow Warthen about 1mile to

Elmira High School, turn right onto Falcon Dr. and follow to the high

school parking lot. Allow approx. 30 minutes travel from Eugene.

Awards: Points will be awarded fifteen deep in EACH EVENT as follows:

1st-25pts, 2nd-22pts., 3rd-20pts., 4th-18pts., 5th-16pts., 6th-14pts.,

7th-12pts., 8th-10pts., 9th-8pts., 10th-6pts., 11th-5pts., 12th-4pts.,

13th-3pts., 14th-2pts., 15th-1pt.    Riders overall finish will be

figured by cumulative points, However you DON'T need to participate in

ALL three events to be figured into the overall.



Prizes will be a combination of Gift Certificates, Cash and Products.

$30.00 CASH for 1st Cat. 3 in overall points.

Entry Info: Road Races are $20.00, Time Trial is $15.00. All 3 races

together are $50.00. You DON'T need to participate in ALL three events

to be figured into the overall points.

Juniors (18 under) Fees: $5.00 a race, $15.00 for all 3 races.

Promoter reserves the right to combine or split groups. All OBRA racing

Eugene Celebration info: This years Eugene Celebration Bike Races are

an auxiliary event of the 2000 Eugene Celebration. Buttons are

available for purchase at race or at the celebration events downtown

Eugene. Buttons are at a SPECIAL price for racers, $5 for adults, Kids

12 and under are free. Special price is at race registration only. Be

sure to get a Eugene Celebration Program and button at the race, then

head on out after the races to downtown Eugene!! Please go out and

support this new addition to the races this year!!
