Barbell Basics for Cyclists is a program for both novice and experienced cyclists who either spend time in the gym, or want to expand their arsenal of tools to use in the gym. From my coaching and personal experience, at least 80% of cyclists are doing the wrong kind of exercises, rep ranges, or levels of volume in the gym. For those that are doing these exercises already- this will NOT be a waste of time. Have your form analyzed, learn new accessory lifts, mobilization techniques, and lift appropriate warm-ups.
If you are a cyclist and you aren't utilizing the clean in your lifting program, you are MISSING OUT! It is not an easy movement to learn on your own, and has many more intricacies than the other lifts (back squat, front squat, deadlift).
