The recent warmish Bend weather has elicited a few emails about when the
Tuesday night Hammerfest ride starts up again. As was written in the
ancient papyrus scrolls by our cycling elders many years ago...

"Thine Hammerfest shall commence on the 1st Tuesday post day of the saving
of the daylight." Therefore the ride starts on Tuesday March 15th and
departs promptly at 5:30PM from Sunnyside Sports.

You may then ask when does the departure time change to 6pm? The next line
of the ancient text reads...

"We shall depart at 6PM thine 1st Tuesday henceforth after the day of
national tithing" or when taxes are due. Therefore the ride time switches
to 6PM on April 19th.
