Lewis River Trail

Hi Josh,
We actually rode it a couple days ago. Yes, the first half was pretty much rideable. There was no snow on any of it. On the second half, however, there were several downed trees we had to cross (some of which I believe were cleared later that same day by a crew working in from the upper end). Beyond that, theres at least one place where a slide has washed out the trail and you have to carry your bike up and around through the bushes to get back on the trail (not really dangerous, though).
Thanks,
Hannah

Has anyone been on Lewis River Trail in GP forest lately? Forest Service website has mixed results of detours, closures, unreachable/unrideable and the start of spring trail maintenance. (first four miles cleared of trees).

So I am looking for more details on any snow, unrideable stretches, and essentially if it is worth more than 2.5 hours driving one way so early in the season.

Thanks.
