Hi Folks,
I am selling a 2014 Trek Superfly 8. Trek specifies size as 17.5 inches. CL posting is for $1200 but I am stoked to give $100 off to anyone in OBRA. Measurement from bottom bracket center to top of seat collar is 16.5 inches. I am 58 with a 30 inseam and a saddle height of 90cm from pedal axle to top of saddle, and this bike fits me great as pictured.
Here is a link to the craigslist posting with pics: http://portland.craigslist.org/mlt/bik/5472281625.html
This is an awesome workhorse of an aluminum hardtail 29er. It would be a great XC race bike, all-day forest road and singletrack explorer, or general off road machine. In 2014, this bike retailed for $2,360.
I am a mechanic with 6+ years of industry experience and this bike is built and maintained to a professional standard.
Fork: Bike recently had a NEW Fox Float 32 installed. This fork has around 10 trail hours on it or less, and has the latest bath oils and seals from Fox.
Frame/Components: This bike has under 400 miles on it since purchase. Probably around 40 hours total trail time (but note above details re: fork).
Front Wheel: Bontrager Mustang PRO.
Rear Wheel: Bontrager Mustang. Bike is set up tubeless currently.
Tires: Bontrager XR1 Expert, 2.20
Crank: Shimano SLX, 10 speed, 2x, with 38/24 rings.
Rear Derailleur: Shimano XT, 10 speed.
Front Derailleur: Shimano SLX
Brakes: Shimano SLX
Bar/Stem/Post/Saddle: Bontrager Stock Equipment.
I will also include:
-Some basic Shimano SPD pedals, if desired
-2x Salsa stainless steel bottle cages (durable and bombproof)
-2x Bontrager XR3 Team Issue Tires, 29*2.2. These are new in packaging-$150 worth of tire.
I am happy to be contacted with any questions about the bike, or to put some flat pedals on it if youd like to come take a short test ride and check it out.
Thanks!
