Plan and Coordinate rides with a Free iPhone App

Plan your ride easily on your phone, invite your friends, optionally open the ride up to others. It's a FREE app I built called Beecan, currently only for iPhones. No advertisements, no catch.

I couldn't find a simple way to plan and coordinate my rides, so I built one.

There is a lot of functionality built in the App, but to plan a ride "Host and Event", add a title, start time and select the location tab and drop location pins along the route of your ride. The app calculates the distance of the total route and the leg of the route from the previous pin. You can delete or move pins to update the route as you go. Once you have the ride built, choose which friend to send the route to (which will alert you friends phone) or you can open the ride to anybody you want (they can search for the ride). You can also text links to friends with iPhones and when they download the app, it will open to your ride.

You can search for rides others have posted on a map or list, filter events etc.

I just put up a basic website at Beecan.org for basic information, but it's probably easier just to download the free app and mess around with it.

Let me know what you think and I'll be adding requesting functionality.

Thanks,
