Please check your domestic license, if it says LIMITED you will need to have

proof of citizenship. I can't stress this enough....this is for DOMESTIC

license holders not JUST International, this year at Road Nationals in PA, I

saw a lot of people scrambling to have proof faxed to the race, not the kind

of stress you need to go through before a race. Just bring proof of

citizenship no matter what! That way you won't have any problems. Good luck

to all OBRA members racing this weekend. It looks like we have a few good

chances for Gold!!!!

From Mikkel's national experiences they will not allow anyone to do

Nationals races without proof of citizenship. Do not take a chance dig up

your birth certificate or passport.

It should be noted that proof of citizenship will really only be checked

if

you are purchasing an INTERNATIONAL RACING LICENSE. That means, this

will

only affect you if you are racing the UCI categories: Elite Mens; Elite

Womens; Espior Men; Juniors 17-18.

Any other championship category requires only an annual USCF license

(good

through 12/31/04). These can be purchased on site at the posted reg

times.

The non-championship categories (Men's and Women's Cat B, C and SS)

require

 only a one day license.

I was hoping you could send an e-mail to your OBRA list reminding riders

who are planning on purchasing licenses at Cyclo-cross Nationals this

weekend to bring proof of citizenship with them.

The only valid forms proving citizenship are passports and birth

certificates.

A rider cannot purchase an International license without their proof of

citizenship, so we don't want to send riders expecting to race the UCI

events to go away unhappy.

Registration will be open Thursday evening 5pm-9pm and Friday 7am-3pm at

the Doubletree Janzen Beach, and will be open until one hour prior to

each race on site on Saturday and Sunday.

Thanks for your help - see you on Thursday.
