It is quite clear that day 1 is the same course as the last 2 years and for anyone who hasn't done this course, regular road tires should suffice. All the gravel is on a gentle uphill and it has generally been pretty tame.
The description for Day 2 is confusing, at least for the regular course (not 1/2 or the long fondo). Last year the course was a single loop and it had some pretty rough gravel. It looks the course is different this year, but maybe the same as two years ago (when there was a gravel loop done twice). Anyone have any info on the day 2 course in terms of tire selection. Two years ago I used 23mm which was manageable, but if I was doing that course again I would go with 25mm and the course last year I used 28mm and I would use the same tires if I was doing that course again.
