PIR is coming up quickly and I know someone out there needs some fast wheels for the series. I have two sets of Ursus Miura T45 carbon tubulars for sale. Both sets are used (see description). I raced one set last year at PIR and they are very smooth and very fast.
Hubs are smooth with Shimano/SRAM 11speed freehub bodies. Brake tracks are clean and wheels are round and true (not like high-end, built with a dial gauge true, but true enough). Wheels have bladed Sapim X-Ray spokes. Front w/o tire is 610 grams, rear w/o tire is 740 grams. Rims are 23mm wide (like a HED Belgium C2).
One set has almost new Continental Sprinter 22s mounted, and you can see the rim on both sides of the tire. These would be great for some 25mm tubbies (or wider).
The top carbon weave is a checkerboard, so they're really pretty. I took the stickers off because they were nicked up from being in the car.
$400 for the set w/o tires. Rear looks almost new. Front is more used and has one bunged-up spoke. Gluing bed has old glue on it. I only have the front skewer.
$500 for the set w/ tires. Front looks almost new. Rear is more used (yes, I mismatched them when I re-glued them last year). Tires are very lightly used and have a quality glue job from last year (Continental black label carbon glue).
Email me for pictures. Wheels are in Hood River and will be around for the Gorge Roubaix.
