Let's spell it out even clearer.
If you are not on the same lap
1. You may not give lead outs or block for other riders
2. You should not sprint for hot spots or at the finish
It in effect has turned your ride into a training ride and you should sit at the back and talk to Mike.

While some adhere to the rules others find it necessary to take few pulls or work at or near the front. I have personally said on multiple occasions once you are down laps you are no longer contesting but riding with the group. The officials job is to keep the racing fair but when racers choose to race with their own agenda it makes it hard to allow people to pop back into a race.

PIR is a circuit race as most of you know so the rules are you CANNOT work with riders on different laps.

As a habit we let people who show up late or flat out but want back in to go back into the race. While some adhere to the rules others find it necessary to take few pulls or work at or near the front. I have personally said on multiple occasions once you are down laps you are no longer contesting but riding with the group. The officials job is to keep the racing fair but when racers choose to race with their own agenda it makes it hard to allow people to pop back into a race.

thx, Jordan
