FS: Merlin MTB

I have a beautiful Merlin mountain bike that I am thinking of selling. It is

about a 1994 frame, absolutely perfect condition (no dings or big scratches).

Complete Shimano XTR 8-speed group, with several upgrades (Ti stem, OnZa

brakes, Hugi rear & Ringle front hubs). It is unique because I replaced the

suspension fork with a Voodoo rigid fork. So, it is light and an absolute

blast for technical riding, climbing, and non-bumpy downhill riding).

It is a 17.75" frame, but the way Merlin sizes their frames, it would fit

someone between 5'6" and 6', depending on how you're proportioned. I am 6'

and it fit me fine.

Own a piece of history (Merlin no longer exists as a separate company) for

$1500. I would prefer to sell in the Portland area. I am selling, because

my old body requires full suspension.

PS Have you ever looked at the craftsmanship of the Merlin's of this era?

Flawless.
