Hello,



By "Epic", I mean the Specialized Epic "holy grail", not your favorite

ride of all time, in torrential rain, with two flats, a stale powerbar,

and a dog chasing you...



I'm curious about your experiences if you've spent any significant time

riding this bike off road. I'm a long time hard tail XC racer, but

recently was enlightened by an "Epic" test ride on very rough terrain

last weekend. What kind of maintence issues have you had to deal with?

Do you have any critique of this bike design? I don't recall anyone in

the OBRA MTB circle racing this bike last summer.
