I have a Bontrager privateer 26 inch hardtail collecting dust. It's a small(15 in?). Would be suitable for smaller riders probably 5'1"-5'8". Here's some specs:
-Bontrager privateer frame
V brakes and 1" THREADLESS headtube(a mythical unicorn,basically)
-Marzocchi 100mm fork
-Slightly modern cockpit with Fizik antares saddle and 1' 1/8" Ritchey wcs stem(run with shim on steer tube)
-26 in wheels w/Maxxis High roller tires
-Salsa salt flat aluminum bars
-Shimano V brakes with nicer fresh pads
-9 speed triple Shimano drive train
Everything is in good working order. I've ridden this thing maybe once in 5 years and that was last summer on a backcountry adventure across the Gifford Pinchot forest. It did not let me down. Before that it was minimally ridden. Probably one of the nicer privateers I've seen for sale. This thing could tackle anything from short track/cyclocross, to loaded bikepacking adventures to technical xc trails.
