Come up to Jerry Baker Memorial Velodrome ( the velodrome formerly known as Marymoor) for three days of track racing. It's the NW regional champs, and the temps will be in the 90's, but we are still racing. Food trucks, beer garden, spectators, prize money. Friday thru Sunday.

In asking the question, you and I both know the answer. I remember racing the National Road Championships in Spokane in 105 degree weather. Now, that was a 2 1/2 hour event with tons of climbing. Now, that is hot! Riding around the track for half an hour, and then resting, and then riding again, is nothing. Oh well, what are we going to do about this younger generation? (:
