I know there are earlier cross races, but for those of us who showed up at D. Douglas today with a light mist on and off in the AM, it was a nourishing welcome to the fall cross season.
The weather and visits with friends just keeps us coming back. Tough/fun course as usual (thanks Zone 5), best officials in the nation (thanks OBRA pros), great mech. support (Sellwood and Gevenalle), super volunteers and fans........and the man himself Brad Ross rode and cheered (and shared a few tall tales).
Cross Season has returned to our beautiful state. Each region has it’s own unique offering of our lovely sport. Cyclocross...the approachable type of bike racing.
just thinking.........ron s.
