It seems like we just begun. It is with mixed feelings that we look to our last week of the 2016 Portland Trophy Cup. On one hand, Im tired. On the other, its fun! It wouldnt have been possible without our sponsors so Id like to thank them one more time.

Portland Bicycle Studio
Big props to PBS for keeping everybodys bikes dialed but also for leading the clinics before each race.

Stages
Stages throws down the cash to make that mad dash to the first corner so interesting.

The Athletic
You know how your Trophy Cup number is the coolest one that you get all season? Thats thanks to The Athletic. Thanks go to them for also creating the best cap (not hat) in town. If you havent gotten one be sure to grab one at registration tomorrow.

Shimano
Keeping the course tied up as tight as possible (and so that we dont have to use cones throughout for the whole course).

Breadwinner Cycles
How do you get 1000 stakes, 10 light towers, 6 barriers and 500 cones on course? In a cool little Nissan truck that belongs to Breadwinner. The course would never happen if it werent for that little truck.

Gigantic Brewing Company
Do you guys like to drink good beer at a reasonable price? Of course you do!

Portland Design Works
Lighting up the night (and a set of barriers) happens because of these guys. Always supportive of the race scene and the ride back home.

Rapha
You all want to look good while hopping barriers right? Well paint the barriers pink! A supporter since day one.

Tastebud
Best pizza in town. And at a bike race even.

Knight Composites
Forgot your wheels in the pit last weekend? Good thing theyre here to get you setup with a fancy carbon set to cruise around on.

Dont forget to watch the first (and surely last) BIKETOWN cyclocross race. The race is at 7:15 and if you race in the womens race, 1/2 or single speed races dont forget that your start time is pushed back a bit. Heres the schedule for the night:

Do you want one more chance to hang out with the funnest folks you could ever race with? Make sure youre at the awards party this Thursday at The Athletic. Well have refreshments soft and hard from Atlas Soda Works and Gigantic Brewing and foodstuffs from Olympia Provisions. Party starts at 6pm with awards for the top three finishers from each category at 7:30pm.

I know that all of you ride your bikes off road and would love to have more places to do it. Gateway Green is due to start construction in a matter of weeks and needs that last financial push to get $3 million in grant funding to build out the entire park.

Theyll be out at the race tomorrow to talk about it and answer all the questions that you might have. To get you guys motivated to help out well be giving out free entry to anybody that makes a $50 donation at the race. Heres more information about the plans: https://www.oregonskitchentable.org/crowdfunding/dirt-lab-gateway-green

See you all out there at PIR one more time!
