HEY OBRA!

We're less than two weeks away from one of the best races on the calendar. Are you excited? I am. As there isn't a Cross Crusade that weekend, and it takes half the time to drive to Pat's Acres as Cascade Locks, we're expecting some strong race fields. We'll be unveiling a lot in the coming week (prizes, course features, hospitality services).

I'm initiating the Steven Beardsley call up rule effective immediately. Call up lists will be announced next Wednesday and are based on the following:

1) Top 10 places in Cross Crusade series per category
2) First time racers, if this is your first time racing, we'll call you to the front! You need to pre-register. You will show up on this page: https://obra.org/events/24646/results
3) My own discretion (bribes help)

If you haven't raced Canby, you should make this year THE year to get hooked. Seriously, ask anyone that's raced there, and they'll tell you it's not to be missed. One of the best courses in Oregon and I'm not saying that because I help set it up/design it (well not totally). A lot of natural features, and it's super fun when and if it gets muddy. We are going to have ample beverages for everyone. Registrants are entitled to beer from Gigantic Brewing Co., cider from Carlton Cyderworks, and we'll have a lot of non-alcoholic options as well.
