Luscher Farms is an amazing place for a Cyclocross Venue. Zone 5 crew set up a top tier course. It was super nice! You could pass (be passed) anywhere on the entire course depending on your fitness and technical ability. It was a challenge for sure but because it was designed so well was MUCH FUN! Great for spectating as well. In my opinion one element of a good cyclocross course is one that is a Jekyll and Hyde course depending on weather.....this for sure would fit.
Maybe the best thing about this was the fact that Lake Oswego Parks and Rec........are the main shaker and mover on this. They want to do events like this for us racers. Their staff was all over the infrastructure of parking etc. Great place for family.
I hope either this very race or others at this venue take place in the future. If you did not do it, try to make the next one here if you can make it happen.
