Our Fast Fun Nice p/b Wattie Ink cycling team is putting on a racing clinic for our team and have openings for others out in OBRA-land. It's on 4/16, meeting at 9am at Brewed in Downtown Vancouver (603 Main St.). Local crushers Brenna Wrye-Simpson and Steven Beardsley will be teaching the clinic. It'll be geared more towards newer racers but also good for intermediate racers who would like a refresher course.

Please bring a way to lock up your bike while we are inside the coffee shop for the classroom portion--we're trying to find a better bike storage solution but may not be successful. Bring cash or check. Cost is $30.

We will have about 45-60 min of class time first going through bike racing fundamentals and then we'll ride over to Vancouver Lake Park and split into two groups where we can put our class learning into action for a few hours, practicing pacelining, attacks, counter attacks, drafting, bridging and other fun tactics in the racing toolbox. Dress weather appropriate and bring some snacks and water for the ride. We're riding rain or shine, so if it's raining fenders are encouraged.
