As of today, Friday, June 2nd, a single lane path has been cleared across the McKenzie Highway (OR 242).

The McKenzie Highway remains closed to motor vehicles. The earliest opening date for motorized travel is set for the third Monday of June, the average opening date over the last 25 years. With this season's heavier snow pack, the highway may open later, possibly not until July.
