Yeah, Pacifier blacklists Topica, too. I just use the Web interface.
It works fine if you've got a fast connection.

paid services that I have looked into are also on these lists. I hope
everyone realizes when they say "OBRA" it generally means Candi or
Mike Murray. In this case, "OBRA" is me. In any event, I've spent a
bunch of time researching and we've considered other options and
aren't ready to make a change right now. It doesn't mean that it won't
happened in the future.
Other options for people in your situation: Get a free hotmail account
or to read the online web archive of the list that's here:
