position description:

*Quality Coordinator*

The Quality Coordinator is the primary quality contact at the Griffith
Rubber Mills Portland, OR manufacturing location. This person is
responsible for auditing product and processes to ensure they conform to
customer requirements and assisting the Corporate Quality Manager with the
implementation and maintenance of the quality management system.

*Duties and Responsibilities:*

· Inspection of in-coming raw material, parts, and associated
paperwork

· Inspection of out-going parts and associated paperwork

· perform in-house verifications & maintain calibration records

· internal audits of products and processes

· review warranty claims

- run and report on MRB meetings
- root cause analysis and corrective action
- responsible for PPAPs
- additional quality-related duties, as required
- approximately 50% time spent in manufacturing environment, 50% office
environment
- must be able to lift 25lbs unassisted

*Skills, Abilities, and Education:*

- Good communication skills both written and verbal
- basic computer skills: MS Outlook, Word, Excel
- basic print reading and interpretation
- use of common hand measurement tools such as a tape measure, caliper
and durometer gage
- knowledge of ISO 9001
