I do get a bit tired about guys whining about that fact that someone in
their age category is better than they are, so they should not have to race
against them. That is what age categories are about. Someone who is older,
but a better racer, should not be penalized and have to race against far
younger racers because they are better than the others in their age group.
No other sport that I am aware of makes people of a certain age group race
with younger racers because they are better than the rest of the people in
their age group.
