While it appeared to be in serious doubt following last year's epic muddy version of Zaaldercross, we are back and its going to be the best version yet! Having nearly lost the venue we can't tell you how pumped we are to be able to share this special race with you once again. We are back at the amazing Alderbrook park with all its quirky cool attractions and awesome cross terrain. We've been frequently updating the race website : http://www.zaaldercross.com and have added a new FB event page to keep you abreast of all the Z6 goings on. We have added some totally new and challenging sections to the course and you can check those out on our site. We will be posting a new course video in the next few days as well. We have some awesome prizes this year like custom Z6 insulated growlers for most race winners and something super special for the 2 Singlespeed winners, seriously cool.
A couple of notes:
- Once again we are proud to be part of the GP series, race #3
-We also will be the first race of the Junior Series this year
-Our popular raffle is back again this year with a SRAM Force CX1 drivetrain, Zipp wheels and tons of other cool stuff for prizes. Tickets available on OBRA prereg or the Z6 site
-As in years past all proceeds will go towards helping our homeless youth in PDX by way of our great friends at p:ear!
