The Final Battle at Barlow is Less Than a Month Away

All,
This course (and the great group putting it on) create a true NW Cross
Classic. The course is a real challenge, wet or dry, but to have done it is
something to cherish. Not so much to be proud of...but to just have that
first hand knowledge / memory inside. I urge folks to do this. I am so sad
the race is going away, but also happy for future students at Sam Barlow HS.
I also urge support for the upcoming weeknight Cross races even though it
will be quite warm. The courses and atmosphere will be the same for all
folks out there and support for these series is most important no matter the
part of OBRA land. Even though we be warm and dry... Cross is here!

Subject: [OBRA Chat] The Final Battle at Barlow is Less Than a Month Away

As you may have heard, this year's Battle at Barlow will be the last.
Impending construction at the high school means that valuable parts of the
course will be lost and make racing there in the future impossible. What
does that mean for 2017's race? Your last chance to experience those
railroad ties. You've all experienced them or at the very least, seen photo
and video evidence of their ridiculousness. We'll be doing everything we can
to make sure that the 12th Battle at Barlow is the best.

This year's race is coming up in just less than a month on Sunday, September
24th.

With those Cross Crusade call ups being ever more important, podium
finishers of all categories will be receiving a call up to the first Cross
Crusade race at Alpenrose.

All the info you need can be found on the flyer:
http://www.obra.org/flyers/2017/battle_barlow_2017.pdf but of course if you
have any questions let us know.

racers and $10 for the juniors. If you want to race a second race, it'll
just be $10. If you wait until the day of racing to register the price goes
