I've started to guide a blind athlete with the plan to achieve his goal of racing a triathlon next year. His bike is a real clunker; even heavier than a hybrid with fat mountain bike tires. We're having a supertech-Dylan look at it to adjust the derailleur and clean it up (chain fell off a dozen times when we rode on Monday) but I thought I might see if anyone out there has a tandem of any kind collecting dust in their garage that we could borrow. This athlete is super enthusiastic - lost his sight in a mountaineering accident about 15 years ago - and is really fired up to train and race. But on this bike it will be pretty painful!
