Update on Paul

I stopped in on Paul today and there is much good news. He is in high

spirits and has moved out of ICU. He commented about the 'free' helicopter

ride and how upset he was he could not turn his head to see out side. "All

I could see was UP". He is talking a lot and has a lot of upper body

movement for someone with a neck brace and oodles of road rash. He is still

sore from the scraps and road rash, but I'm told looks much better today.

He does not remember anything about the crash. What he briefly remembers is

having contact on his right hand when his hands where on the horns. The

next memory he has is being on the ground waiting for the emergency

personal.

Melinda, Paul and the few hospital staff I talked to all commented on how

quickly Paul is coming along. He is not out of the woods but is doing

well.

On a side note, it sounds like the bike frame is in good condition. Paul

and Clark Ritchie have already talked about the damage and assessing an

'equipment recovery' plan.
