People of OBRA,
I have been trying to find someone to sponsor the wheel car for the OSU
Road Race...with no luck so far. The race is their fund raising event. The team is
going to Madison, Wisconsin this June where Doug Ollerenshaw will be defending
his National Title. College racing is a big deal and the more racers in orange and black
they can send to Madison the better. So, the idea is to pay for the wheel car with
funds other than entry fees. It is too late to add a dollar to entry fees (violin music here)
and the donation jar hasn't really covered the costs at other races. So....would teams
be willing to donate a fixed amount ($25)? Or does anyone have a quick and easy solution
that will work for getting the wheel car to this race.
So people of OBRA,
Dig into your pockets, Dig deep, Dig until it hurts...........
'cause when your deflated, and the pack is leaving you behind,
only one man can bring you salvation..........the wheel man!!
Thanks,
Tim Maloney
