Remember, wearing two numbers is in the rule book:
Rule 8.5.2 Two number requirement In road competitions on public roads, with the exception of criteriums, riders shall wear two numbers. One shall be on the on the lower left back facing the rear of the rider. Riders with temporary numbers shall be exempted from this rule. Penalty may be a relegation of 5 spots from the rider’s finish.
Take note, it says lower back. That is so the officials in the vehicle behind you can read the numbers.
