Bummer deal, I know some people were looking forward to a good hard
course with some interesting challenges to it.
It will still be fun, looking forward to it.

The 2004 UO Road Race (Presented by UO Cycling and Collin's Cycle Shop)
has been updated. The course has been changed from the previous 20 mile
loop with gravel sections to an 11 mile, GRAVEL FREE loop. Leave your
armadillos at home and get ready to go fast. Course loop is mostly flat
with one mild hill. Staging area, start times, categories, and entry
fees will remain the same.
The road race is Saturday, April 17, with collegiate categories starting
at 9am, followed by OBRA categories at noon. This will be followed by a
collegiate-only team time trial. Sunday's crit will feature the same
course as this Sunday's Icebreaker Crit, and course distance will be
determined by time rather than laps (ie, 35 minutes +2 laps, etc). For
OBRA categories, the road race and crit are standalone events. For
college teams the weekend is part of the NWCCC season and is a points
omnium to help determine who qualifies for 2004 Collegiate Nationals.
Come early and cheer on the DUCKS!!!
