Just a reminder that the clean up day for the velodrome will be May 6. We
will start at 10:00 am and go until we are done. I was there today and we
didn't get as much done as I would have liked so we will need help to be
ready for the upcoming busy track season. Be prepared to carry signs, clean
buildings, paint buildings, railings and the track, lots of things that can
be done.

As a special incentive the good people from Chris King are going to come out
and cook us a pancake breakfast.

The annual track clean up session at Alpenrose will be Sunday April 25. We

may be painting the entire surface. We will be patching the riding surface,

cleaning the grandstands, moving equipment from storage into position to use

during racing season, putting up sponsor signs, pulling weeds, painting

rails, bleachers, etc. There is always more stuff to do. If we get a big

turn out then it will be easier. Many hands make light work.



We will start at 9:00 AM and go until we get done with at least the most

basic things, probably until 5:00 PM or so. If you can only come for a hour

or so that will be great. The more the merrier. As always, we will provide

a lunch.



Even though this sounds like work it is actually a lot of fun. It is rather

like a barn raising. This is your chance to help support bike racing. Hope
