Friends with too many cheap BMX bikes piled up in your garage,

"Kids on Bikes" programming at Self Enhancement Inc. needs a new wave of

beat up rusty but running, cheap and poorly made BMX bikes. These are the

bikes kids of all sizes grab first.

For years we have been refurbishing old bikes of all genre for our entry

level kids' programming. Old stuff runs forever with just a little TLC.

But now the classes are more numerous and bigger, and full of "smaller than

ever shorties." I have 36 kids in my elementary school cycling class.

And they are fired up, let me tell you. Some of the best racing I have ever

seen is amongst 3rd graders on bikes with pink rims and clicking plastic

beads on the spokes.

So if you have a small kids' bikes that are getting in the way, please

contact b.i.k.e.   We will put them to good use by donating them to the

cycling program at SEI. Where dear children will confoundedly break them as

if they were locust ravishing a farmer's field.
