As you may or may not know, a documentary film I have made titled, "State of Cyclocross" will premiere this Saturday at Chris King Precision Components in their event space. (Trailer is below)

At 23 minutes in length from end to end, the film - shot in one day at Nationals in January - is a film and photographic mediatation on the current state of the sport in the United States. Voiced by local and national professional racers: Beth Ann Orton, Laura Winberry, Molly Cameron, Erik Tonkin, Ryan Trebon, Stephen Hyde, Cody Kaiser and Bill Schieken of CXHairs.com. It also features the photography of Michael Jasinksi and Patrick Means.

This is an open invitation to all to come and celebrate cyclocross.

Cost: None. But a donation at the event would be wonderful. Seating will be fairly limited, but we will find a way if, hopefully, we are packed.

The Schedule for the Night:
6:00 Doors Open. We will have some food and beer available. Come early. Get you seat, commune with friends and community

7:15 Film maker talk and presentation. Myself and Patrick will talk about the project and the experience.

8:00 Screening.

8:30 Q&A

Also: There will be a benefit raffle for Team S&M CX and PDX Devo to assist riders acheive their goals and dreams this year. Tickets will be $5 each or 5 for $20.
