OBRA and all,

SOCX went off at Chris King and it was an incredible night of community and everyone had a terrific time. Thanks to all of you who came out. The benefit raffle for Team S&M CX and PDX Devo was successful as well so thanks to all of you who took part. In light of that, Breadwinner Cycles, HiFi Sound Components, Team S&M, Sellwood Cycle Repair & Cyclocross Crusade, I am forever grateful for you generous donations to that cause.

I also want to specifically thank Daniel Rockholm and Chris King for hosting and feeding us and for providing really good beer. The event space was perfect and Daniel went far beyond what I would have expected and because of his efforts the night went very smoothly.

I desperately want to keep sharing this in the same model. If you are interested in setting up a screening, please email off list. Another Portland space? Hood River? The Coast? Seattle? Bellingham? I'm talking to you!

The next stop is Billings, Montana for a festival stop, then off to Reno. We will be screening in Bend when Cyclocross Crusade comes to town on Saturday night, November 3rd at Pine Mountain Sports (https://pinemountainsports.com/event/state-of-cyclocross-screening/).

Lastly, as we are just trying to break even on this thing, you can order some of the film goods through the website store at www.stateofcyclocross.com. We just posted the pre-order of the book / DVD combination which is a limited run and it will be the only way to see it or get a copy outside of it's screening run. The film will not be posted online, so if you're counting on that to see it - don't.
