i know it's hard to think about a winter/rain training bike with 80

degree days, but i thought i'd give it a go anyway.



54 cm cannondale R4000 purchased new and built up about 16 months ago.

orange to black fade paint with yellow lettering. i used it to train in

winter 2002-2003 but not this last winter. 2000 campy 9 speed, cinelli

groove bars and stem (42cm, 100mm), chris king nothread set, river city

customized fenders, 172.5 53/39 cranks, campy record hubs, mavic ceramic

open pro wheels with washers added to spoke elbow at hubs to decrease

wear (built by RCBs, armidillo tires with plenty o-tread, 13-26

cassette, cateye computer with cadence. excellent condition and not a

ton of miles on it. never raced. i tried to build it to withstand the

harsh winter training season and fowl weather. i think it's pretty bomb

proof.
