This year due to various reasons there is only one weekend hillclimb on the calendar - Mt. Ashland and it is the OBRA championship. If you like hillclimb races make sure to go to Ashland this year. The Ashland HC has a road route and off-road route. Last year the best overall time was made by some 50 year old never been / has been off-road racer. The best roadie was over 2 minutes behind. Because I know there are at least a dozen road racers in Oregon that are faster the lame old off-road dude from last year I'll personally give $40 cash to the road racer this year that do two things: win the overall (road & off-road) and beat the off-road time from last year. -Jon Myers
