Steve,
You can double up! race singlespeed in the first race, and your age category in the second! Then you will get your money's worth :) ... plus as Vern mentioned, this is the finale of the series, so there will be a (free) chili feed, and all kinds of other goodies, a free kids race after the final adult race, and a pinata and treats for the kiddies. The Brother's Reed will be playing music. Plus there is a weekly raffle, and the series raffle, with a full custom titanium frame and Enve fork from Mike DeSalvo as the grand prize, as well as an All-City frame and fork, some handbuilt wheels from UBI, headset of your choice from AVT, and a handmade bicycle-themed quilt. If you haven't come out to an Outlaw race, it's a great series, put on by great people, and all the proceeds go to Josephine County Search and Rescue. The venue this week is Tom Pearce Park in Grants Pass, and the course is fairly flat and fast! Featuring grass, dirt trails by the Rogue River, paved sections, a sand pit, and other good stuff. There is a playground, covered seating areas, real bathrooms, and a fireplace!
